I luv before and after pictures...

taking something old and making it perfect. 

Not perfect as in 'flawless,' but just perfectly the way I want it to be...

It is the potential I see in something old, coming to new life...

Old is perfect!

This dresser was a 'find' at an indoor flea market...
It was luv at first sight!  Really bright too!

 I distressed it, stained over the blue and clear-coated...
I luv the end result!
It was missing the mirror when i bought it, 
so I will eventually add one when the inspiration comes.

I had to look this up online...

I was sure it had a special name besides just 'telephone stand' ...yup!

My mom says she remembers her aunt having one like this

in her front hallway.




I found this adorable desk at "The Bargin Barn." 
My intent was to re-finish it and sell it, but after I finished it...I just couldn't part with it.
It now has it's place in the corner of my living room.

 

I was tickled pink...uh...orange with this flea market find!

So my girls bedroom redo was so fun...here are a few pics.

1-They had fun drawing and painting on the old walls.

2-We gutted the whole room!  Goodbye lath, plaster and UNinsulated walls...

3-Hello newly insulated walls with drywall, bright paint and plushy carpet!
